Local files won't even download on desktop. So, I've been trying to sync a few local files to my phone and it just hasn't been working, the playlist in which I put the songs downloads but all the arrows on the right of the songs are grey and never turn green, which means they don't show up on my phone (they do but greyed out). The song is immediately greyed out, and 'Waiting' is displayed. It never downloads. Ever. It just sits there, even after hours. - Checking 'Local Files' under 'My Library' reveals the song has been deleted from Local Files completely. The program no longer recognises it at all. Only closing and re-lanching Spotify resets everything. Totally can't play my local files on Spotify! I have around 16k songs on my PC. Spotify won't load my local files anymore, at all. It used to sit and take forever, now it won't even try. I have NO WAY to add local files to playlists now, because I can't view them under Local Files. This is totally breaking Spotify for me.
If you found out there are some local files missed on Spotify but don't know what they are. Go to Settings Display Options Show unavailable songs in playlists. Then you can see what local songs are currently unavailable and upload them again on Spotify. The songs play on my PC since they are local files but I can't seem to get them to download on my android device. I am connected to the same WiFi, the playlist is "Available Offline" on both my PC and phone, looked up the problem but can't seem to find a solution to it.
